Planning for the 41st Annual Oktoberfest is well underway. This year’s festival offers even more authentic German entertainment that you won’t want to miss. Die Mainfloesser Band is back by popular demand to rock the show with a unique blend of traditional German, contemporary German and American music. Also joining us again this year is Southern California’s premiere German band, The Express Band.
New this year is the Trachten Verein Traunstoana dancers direct from Big Bear’s sister city Abtenau, Austria. They will be performing traditional Austrian dances. Additional dance groups include Big Bear Polka Tots, Danube Swabain, and the Cripple Creek Cloggers.

41th Annual Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest Schedule of Events
Ongoing events that take place each weekend included:
* Log Sawing & Stein Holding Contests - held several times throughout the day both Saturdays and Sundays. * The Safe Slam Beer Drinking Contest is held every Saturday evening after 8:00 p.m. * Children's contests held Sundays at approximately 3:00 p.m. * Outside Budenstrasse (Game Booths, Exhibitors, Petting Zoo) is open Saturdays from 12:00 Noon to 8:00 p.m. and Sundays from 12:00 Noon - 5:00 p.m.
Please note: On Saturdays after 6:00 p.m. only persons 21 years and older will be admitted. However, families with children who have entered Oktoberfest prior to 6:00 p.m. will not be asked to leave Oktoberfest after 6:00 p.m.
